The first thing you notice as you come up the driveway is the large, mounded, island garden bed on the left side of the drive filled with a wonderful mix of perennials.  As you approach the front door another, smaller island garden, contains Cleome stalks that are 5’ tall.  Note the Turk’s cap lilies too. Behind the house is the pond garden extending out from the patio.  The original lower level of the pond was built in 1998, they added the upper level three years ago.  The backdrop for this pond is a series of older lilac bushes and around the patio are a variety of annuals in containers plus perennials such as campanula and butterfly weed.  Walking further back, you will see the Johnson’s extensive vegetable garden and the grapevines and apple trees.
